The Big Agnes Battle Mountain 2 Tent is a choice refuge for 8,000 meter ascents, high alpine adventures, and backcountry overnighters. It's a burly shelter that fends off harsh winds and heavy snowfall. When the weather's more sunny than stormy, you can remove the fly and enjoy the mesh doors' ventilation. Or you can turn the vestibule to an awning for a shady space to relax under. Big Agnes built this tent with input from ambassadors who have summited Everest over a dozen times. The setup is surprisingly simple even with gloves on, and the fly connects to the poles to prevent flapping overnight. Its golden color is reminiscent of seeing sunrises beaming on summits, and the undyed, UV-resistant fabric means the golden color stays golden for life. Leaving the high-tenacity yarns undyed also increases tear strength by 20-25% compared to standard treated materials.
