The Blacktail 2 Tent is a Big Agnes classic that’s light enough for backpacking and strong enough for the front country. While primarily used for backpacking, the Blacktail boasts enough versatility for the occasional car camping trip with friends. The rainfly and floor fend off less-than-ideal conditions at camp, while the mesh canopy, vestibule’s low vent, and supportive roof vents improve air circulation and prevent a damp sleeping space. There are a surprising amount of pockets inside, and internal loops let you attach accessories like lights or lofts that big Agnes sells separately.
