Just Right
Some cracks are too thin, some are too wide, but the DMM Dragon Cam Set #2, #3, #4, is built for those cracks that are just the right size. When you're climbing a 100-foot splitter in Indian Creek, it doesn't hurt to have a few extra cams along, especially when they feature thick lobes, raw aluminum heads, and plenty of teeth that bite into the rock, making your cams less likely to walk. In case the crack traverses at all, DMM included an extendable Dynatec sling, which doesn't reduce the cam strength even when extended thanks to the hot-forged thumb press design and the double-axle construction gives you the option to use these cams as passive protection in a pinch.
