The Salewa Women’s Puez Mid Winter PTX Hiking Boot is comfortable and dependable when the hike’s slick with snow. Its durable upper features Powertex waterproofing, TPU film protection, a reinforced rand, and an external toe cap for solid durability as well as reliable weather protection. The upper also has a heel stabilizer and Salewa’s Kevlar-cabled 3F System enhancing the mid-cuff’s stability. Underfoot, the Puez Mid Winter PTX provides EVA cushioning with an Ortholite footbed lined in hemp for warmth. Salewa turned to POMOCA for a firmer rubber compound that keeps the sole grippy on hardpack snow turning to ice.
