The difference is the shape, which is designed to slip in between your wheel wells, while filling in the spots that a rectangular pad leaves uncovered. Otherwise it’s the same as the standard MegaMat, from the cozy tricot face fabric, to the self inflating design with dual one-directional valves for easy deflating as well. While we’ll admit it gives up some versatility over the standard version, we think the tradeoff is well worth it for anyone whose camping plans revolve around sleeping in their vehicle.
