Out of all the shoes in La Sportiva’s massive TX series, the Men’s TX3 Approach Shoe is by far the most breathable. Airy mesh encapsulated in a rubber rand brings the best balance of breathable comfort and the durability climbers expect out of approach shoes. The rand along the sides is made of PU for greater flexibility, and the toe rand is good ol’ fashioned Vibram. Vibram also makes an appearance in the sole with its Megagrip rubber for best-in traction. This is the type of shoe you’d want for scrambling sandstone boulders in the heat of the day. Plus, your foot won’t be a sweaty mess when you reach the crack crag.
