Crush Big Walls
When multi pitch routes are in the plans, you need a shoe that’s supportive without giving up comfort, and the SCARPA Generator V Climbing Shoe delivers. The low top design makes for easy on and off when you need to give your feet a break, but thanks to the combination of the Tri Tension Active rand and the moderately downturned and asymmetric shape, you’ll find these much easier to wear for a few pitches without pain. We like the extra stiffness underfoot, which airs perfectly with the Vibram XS Edge rubber outsole for precise edging on tiny holds. In other words, these are a fitting update to one of our favorite families of trad climbing shoes, that just happen to work great on longer sport routes as well.
