Take on the Trail

Your backpacking boots don't have to weigh 30 pounds to give you the protection you want while hauling around a heavy pack, at least not when you have the SCARPA Zodiac Plus GTX Men's Hiking Boots. Thanks to the innovative four-density midsole design, the Zodiac drops weight where possible while still offering plush cushioning in high impact areas like the heel and forefoot. SCARPA's Sock-Fit construction integrates the tongue into the boot construction, leaving hotspots back at the trailhead, and the Vibram outsole gives you sure footing on trail, rock, and everything in between. A Gore-Tex Performance Comfort liner rounds out this backpacking boot, so you don't have to build yourself a log raft to get across small creeks without soggy feet.

“Great ”
March 10, 2024 by Lunate (Oregon, United States)
“I have only used them once (9 mi, 2000 ft, 25 lbs pack) and they were great, pretty supportive, gripped well, no break-in needed, not clumsy feeling. I sized up half a Euro size. I have narrow, flat, low volume feet and the Zodiacs fit them well from the heel to in front of my non-arch. They are wide in the toe box for me which means there is a bit of dead space on the sides of my feet, and while it doesn't seem to be an issue for hiking I'd be hesitant to do any real 3rd class in them. My low volume, narrow Charmoz and TX Guides fit perfectly from heel to toe and I was hoping these would be similar... not quite. But still a 5 star from me as they fit my feet better than most boots and where otherwise what I was looking for.”
