Continuing Inspiration

The Mythos was one of the very first climbing shoes out there, and just like it inspired the modern climbing shoes of today, the La Sportiva Mythos Eco Climbing Shoe continues to be an inspiration with an eco-friendly construction that minimizes environmental impact. It still retains the original, flat-profiled, comfortably asymmetric shape that slab climbers, trad climbers, and beginners have admired for 30 years. La Sportiva simply updated the climbing shoe with a biodegradable leather upper that used a metal-free, eco-tanning process for durability at a reduced carbon footprint. Also, the FriXion rubber sole is recycled, because what’s the point of calling your shoe Eco if its rubber isn’t recycled?

Features

  • Comfortable climbing shoe redesigned to inspire future generations of rock climbers
  • Flat profile and low asymmetry assure plenty of comfort for slab, crack, and beginners in climbing classes
  • FriXion Eco rubber sole is recycled and ready to smear greasy granite
  • Expect biodegradable leather upper to stretch half a size or more
  • Unlined for a comfier fit
  • LaspoFlex midsole maintains a moderately stiff platform for enough support on multi-pitches
