Skwama Smear

It might not be for bagels, but the La Sportiva Skwama Climbing Shoe is a breakfast fit for boulderers, sport climbers, and gym competitors. It’s a highly aggressive, extremely asymmetric climbing shoe shaped for demanding sport routes and even more challenging boulder problems. The Skwama blends the comfort of a climbing slipper with the secure snugness of a hook-and-loop climbing shoe. The result is a solid climbing shoe that stays solid overtime. Even the leather upper minimizes stretching thanks to La Sportiva’s P3 rand and plenty of rubber covering the toe for toe-hooking. Underfoot, Vibram’s XS Grip2 rubber sole ensures solid traction on the greasiest footholds, and since it’s a softer rubber compound, it allows greater sensitivity for finding the best spot on the smallest edges.
