As you’d expect, you’re getting lace-to-toe construction and an approach-specific POMOCA outsole with a generous edging zone. You’re also getting some extra protection for your feet courtesy of the EXA Shell construction, which adds a bit of bump resistance plus a little torsional support that’s appreciated when hoofing your gear from the trailhead. But the big difference is the GORE-TEX liner, which is guaranteed waterproof breathable, making these perfect for ecosystems where damp approaches are a regular occurrence.
