La Sportiva designed the Ridgeline Mountaineering Boot with forest management and post-fire cleanup crews, so you know it can handle a long trek with a heavy pack. It’s a classic leather mountaineering boot built with a super durable roughout leather and heat-resistant heel and toe counters for better protection in wildland conditions. Although not intended for front-line wildfire work, the external threads, laces, Vibram sole, and sole glue are all heat-resistant to pack the protection that lineman and wildfire mitigation specialists look for. Trekkers and mountaineers can appreciate the stiff support, solid traction, comfy heel cushioning, and universal crampon compatibility.
