The Rab Women's Downpour Eco Jacket is a rugged rain shell with a soft spot for the environment. It has the same waterproofing that made the original Downpour so reliable for hiking and camping. This waterproof, breathable membrane comes in a 2.5-layer construction to keep the jacket light and extremely packable. Rab simply updated the shell's fabric with recycled polyester for a boost in sustainable efforts. Even the fluorocarbon-free DWR treatment gets rid of pesky toxins harmful to the environment. All the other features remain true to the original. YKK AquaGuard zippers enhance water protection in ways that most rain shells lack, and plenty of adjustments from top to bottom seal down the hatches in the worst weather. Get a little more air with the underarm ventilation zippers. When all's sunny and dry, the Downpour Eco packs into its own pocket for compact storage.
